Ostercamp's come to visit

We started our time by visiting our local children's museum!
Jack is ready to go!
Josiah and Natalie getting some money at the drive up bank from the wonderful teller Alise!

Emily giving the forecast...

Luke getting his daily weight lifting in...

Trying to get control of the bank...there were several bank robberies during the day! Maybe it had something to do with your two year old assistant Alise!

Time to go home!

The Olympics

We celebrated the opening ceremonies of the 2010 by doing our best to create an Olympic ring cake!

Ready for opening ceremonies!

Luke even created his own American attire for the occasion!

Everyone was AMAZING help while they stayed! It was a great weekend and lots of fun!

Day 14

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!
I gave Eric a chronological study Bible. The funny part was that he gave me a read your Bible in one year Chronological Bible. So we practically exchanged the same gift! :)

Day 13

Day 13: Candy bar bouquet

I found a poem on line that incorporates different candy bars. Surprisingly, Eric is still enjoying this gift!

Day 12

Day 12: bag of candy
Sorry...no picture for this one!

Day 11

Day 11: Heart Brownie

Sorry Everyone...I got a little distracted with life. I'm going to hopefully be able to remeber the last 4 days, but they may be out of order!

Day 8

Day 8: Chocolate and a card for my Rock Star

Did I mention that in the midst of the 14 days of Valentines I had an All Nighter with our Youth Group? Well we did...Friday night and I am blaming that on my day mix up. THIS is not actually Day 8, but Day 6! Oops! We'll pretend it was today though (I did the banner today). I'm excited for tomorrows! Time to go work on it! :)

Day 7

Day 7: I love you banner

Today we made an I love you banner for Eric and put SOME of the many things we love about Eric in the heart!

Day 6

Day6: STAR WARS
I am NOT a fan of Star Wars, but I have a husband who is and these were $6.00 at Target so it is Day 6's gift. (Hopefully it will just be worn around the house! :) )

Day 5

Day 5: pizza

This was the night of our teen All Nighter so opted for easy and surprised Eric with pizza!

Thursday, February 4, 2010

Day 4

Day 4: Cookie message
Today I made one of Eric's favorite cookies and arranged them in a message for him when he came home from work today.

Day 3

Day 3: Candy Heart note

For day 3 I got foam candy hearts with sayings and made a note using the hearts. I wrote a note to Eric using the hearts in place of words which resulted in a sweet but humorous note.

Day 2

Day 2: favorite candy and card

I hope no one is too disappointed...I won't be creative every day! I'm not that good yet!
However, for those planning on doing this in the future the Dollar Tree is a great place to get lots of cards at low cost (not that Eric wouldn't be worth the full cost but this way there is more $ for treats ! :) )

14 days of Valentine's Day

Day 1: Heart shaped meatloaf, potatoes and jello!
So my friend Rachel told me about the 14 days of Valentine's Day. She does it every year to celebrate her husband during the month of February. So often we are worried about what our husbands are going to do for US and we forget to show them special love and attention. So this is my attempt to show my husband just how much I love him!! I've tried the past couple years and always start out strong, but I'm not going to lie it does get hard to keep the creative juices flowing for 14 days. So this is my accountability. I plan on blogging each days Valentine surprise for your enjoyment and my accountability. It really is fun, and I love doing it! Thanks for the idea Rachel!
