Crayon Roll

This is my latest sewing project. In case you need an explanation...it's a crayon holder so that you don't lose all your crayons in your diaper bag. And no, this one is not for Josiah! :)

If You Tell A Two Year Old To Go To Sleep...

If you tell a two year old to go to sleep...
He'll find something to keep himself entertained until he is tired!
(notice the placement of his socks)

I guess someone needs to be monitored more at bedtime!

Nothing like a quick read of "If You Give a Pig a Pancake" before falling asleep.

Wedding

My cousin got married last month and we traveled to Nebraska to share in her special day! She was a beautiful bride! We are all so excited for you Liz!

The kids had fun getting to spend a few days with Grandma and Grandpa!

We got to spend a lot of time with my Aunt, Uncle and cousins. It was so good to see each other!
Uncle Matt and Aunt Unity were great help in keeping the kids busy.
And when there weren't Aunts and Uncles to keep them entertained they found there own entertainment!

Just for fun...

Jack is 6 months old! He is working on crawling. So far he gets up on all four and rocks. He also scoots. I'm savering these last days of no movement because once they move life is never the same! :)

Our week on the road...

Our week started with my mom coming for the day. She had a bag of books that Josiah LOVED! He spent an hour just sitting and reading books to himself!
Later that day we all headed to Chicago to spend the night and see the cousins!

Josiah had fun playing football with Dave.

And Jack enjoyed some snuggles.

Meeting our nephews Avery and Rory!

Next we stopped at Bloomington to meet our nephews. The boys couldn't come into the hospital room due to the flu so sadly they had to wait to meet their cousins.
Eric and Avery
Sarah and Rory

Visiting Bergmeier's and Uncle Matt!

Our next stop was to Becky and Chaun's! We got a bonus because Matt was also there so we got to see him too!

We had a great time! The kids loved playing together, going on a walk, and going to the zoo!

Sweet Jack!

The boys running up to sit by Uncle Matt to watch the train going by!

Uncle Matt bought everyone a yummy icecream treat!

The boys played lots and lots of football!

Playing in their matching pajamas!

Josiah and Jack get to meet their sweet cousins!

On our way home we stopped in again to see sweet Avery and Rory! (Did I get them in the right order Hillery?)
Josiah meeting his cousins and kissing them up!

Trying to get a group picture...
Making sure everyone is okay.

We are so thankful that these little boys have finally been born safely and healthy! Praise God! We love you Avery and Rory!

Josiah, Jack and I went up to Green Bay for the weekend. My Mother-in-law told me about riding a train to get pumpkins. I thought she meant a little kid train, but this is the train we got to ride! I full fledged double decker train! Josiah was so excited to ride a real train! It was a very cold day, but we had a lot of fun!
The train had real conductors and everything!

Josiah and Grandma on the way to get a pumpkin!

Josiah was so excited to ride a REAL train!

The train took us to a "pumpkin patch" where we could each pick out a pumpkin and then get back on the train for a ride back.
This is the pumpkin Josiah chose!

Riding the train back with Jack.

Josiah with his pumpkin loot!
Our sad attempt at a group picture before we left!
